P J Garoutte, whose roots are in Signes, France, was born in Freistatt, MO and grew up in Hoberg and Mt Vernon MO. In the late 1950's she worked for Hallmark Cards, Kansas City, MO and attended Kansas City Art Institute. Garoutte studied watercolor with Robert E.
