Esteve Navarrete (b. 1965, Barcelona, Spain)
In my work I try to express my feelings, painted with bright colors and strong contrasts, to try to cheer up the people who are looking it. I always paint with brushes. I like the feeling of lightness that transmits when I slide the paint on the canvas. I prefer oil paint for its colorful, brightness and volume. When I see the final result, which is as close as I try to reflect, I feel very happy, and also when I see other people like it.
My favorite color is blue Mediterranean sky and its light, which I try to give in my work. I always follow the same procedure to paint a picture. First an idea comes to my mind and I try to convey in a drawing that later fills with colors that resemble the original idea and almost always are pretty faithful at first view.
Esteve Navarrete is offering a variety of fine art prints for sale in the ArtSlant Salesroom (here)
